Thank you for your interest in joining our competition program.  Auditions for the 26-27 season will take place at our summer intensive July 27- July 31 2026.  Registration opens soon. 

We are incredibly proud of the program we've built up, focusing on the technical foundation of dance while supporting dancers artistically. Our process focuses on both the stage and the classroom, helping prepare dancers for performance & audition opportunities during their time at Rhythm and beyond. We attend two local competitions, two local convention competitions, and nationals in SC every season. Throughout the season our dancers have the opportunity to attend several optional conventions and our booster club works to bring guest teachers to teach our students at home.

The decision to begin competitive dance or find a new dance home is a big one, we're happy to set up time to meet with you and walk you through our program or for your dancer to test the waters with classes alongside our dancers. We are proud to offer one of the most established and longest standing competitive programs in the Charlotte area. Our dancers train across a variety of styles like ballet, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, contemporary and tap. We attend and compete at four local conventions and competitions as well as a week long nationals every season. The competitive team is a commitment, but a quite rewarding program for dancers.
